This week marks the 100-year anniversary of the birth of Dr C.P. McMeekan, a great innovator and promoter of science who established a legacy for world-leading agricultural science research in New Zealand.

DairyNZ has been successful with all four Foundation for
Research, Science and Technology bids in which it is involved for
funding from October 2008.
"This is a huge achievement and shows great confidence in the
DairyNZ research team," said John Luxto
DairyNZ Chairman John Luxton says the implications of additional
research and development funding for the dairy farmers are
significant and welcomed.
