People

DairyNZ has over 180 people, which includes scientific and technical people, research farm people, consulting officers, product and business developers, vocational tutors, as well as management, administration and seasonal employees.  DairyNZ people are located at our head offices at Newstead, and research farm sites in Hamilton and the Whareroa site in Taranaki, while our extension team is spread throughout New Zealand.  We also have regional offices at Lincoln, Whangarei and Palmerston North (Massey) to provide an office base for field people and closer linkages with universities.

DairyNZ has a highly qualified people with over 75% having some tertiary qualification ranging from PhDs, to bachelor degrees and trade qualifications. Our people possess a wide range of capabilities in scientific disciplines, dairy farming, adult learning, facilitation, education and business skills.
