Attracting, retaining and developing good staff is one of the biggest challenges facing New Zealand dairy farmers today. Through the industry’s People and Their Capability programme, DairyNZ is helping build quality work environments, assisting farmers in attracting quality people and developing people's skills to meet the challenges of sustainably lifting productivity.

As well as people, dairy farmers must manage other resources, capital and cash flow to farm efficiently and stay profitable.

Providing tools to manage these, and to plan for the future, is an essential part of DairyNZ’s support of dairying’s farm businesses.
