Who we are

DairyNZ represents all New Zealand dairy farmers, to protect and advance their competitive edge on the global market.

We do this by collecting and investing the dairy farmer levy. Investment ranges from research and development projects for creating practical on-farm tools, to an extensive pest control programme to reduce bovine Tb.

We are constantly seeking better solutions to industry issues and developing proven tools that farmers can use.

Our set up

DairyNZ have a governing board of eight members, of whom five are farmer-elected and three are independent, professional directors. This board is supported by a management team led
