On-Farm Innovation Fund
It is recognised that people working on farms or with farmers are making things happen by doing things differently or have an idea of how they could make improvement. DairyNZ looks to invest a portion of levy funds into developing these innovative ways of doing things to provide benefit to all dairy farmers.
Expressions of Interest (see Application and review process) are accepted at any time and the review process takes about eight weeks. Applications need to clearly show what the innovation is, the expected impact on-farm, what outcomes will be met, alignment with industry needs and delivery to the next stage.
Occasionally we will identify Priority Areas for Innovation to stimulate people to come in with their innovations and ideas. Applications are not restricted to these Priority Areas for Innovation.
Successful projects will be aligned with a Platform and if appropriate a DairyNZ scientist, developer or consulting officer can become part of the team for support.
