- Industry: Project manager for multiple IP protected, contracted research projects between March 2003-November 2007. Guest lecturer (on-farm manipulation of milk composition) at Lincoln University, 2002. Presentations at Dexcel field days, Ruakura Farmers Conference and South Island Dairy Event (SIDE).
- Science: Public-good research: project manager for Global/Dairy InSight funded project 'impact of farming on milk characteristics', 2001-2005. Scientific contribution to FRST funded projects in the areas of high value milk proteins, 2001-2004 and mastitis, 2006-present. Research presentations at national and international conferences.
- Awards: University of Waikato Biological Sciences Department Scholarship, 1996.
