InCalf continuous improvement process
InCalf promotes a ‘continuous improvement process’ as shown in figure 1. It will challenge farmers with their advisers to take a systematic approach towards a sustainable improvement in reproductive performance. InCalf will not deliver a “quick fix” or “silver bullet”. To get the most from InCalf you’ll need to be proactive and committed to solving the underlying cause of reproductive problems, not just the symptoms. >>More

Farmer Action Group Events
The InCalf Farmer Action Group programme is not like a conventional farmer training course. It is an innovative programme comprising a series of four modules designed to support farmers as they progress through each of the four phases of a year’s herd fertility management on their farm – calving, mating, mid-late lactation and the dry period. >>More

This is for rural professionals and service providers, wishing to familiarise themselves with InCalf. The first round of training sessions took place in March/April 2008. Watch this space for news of any future training sessions.
