Areas of interest

  • Modelling. Cow model (Molly) development. Improvement of the representation of herbage and feed intake, substitution, energy and nitrogen partitioning. The aim is to use Molly as part of a whole farm model to explore implications on a farm system scale.
  • Connection of grazing behaviour and digestive processes in relation to herbage intake and nutrient supply.
  • Strategic grazing management.
