ForageMaster Workshops

Designed to provide independent advice for pastures on your dairy farm, ForageMaster Workshops are based on years of DairyNZ research. Over 2000 farmers and industry people have already attended ForageMaster Workshops.

ForageMaster Workshops provide options to improve forage and animal production, identifies your underachieving farm areas, gives access to a cost/benefit calculator and highlights the real costs of growing feed for your cows.

The workshops also delve into improving production and performance through re-sowing, providing access to ForageMaster software to sort through the myriad of forage and pasture species available and what is best suited to your farm.

Forage establishment and management for production and persistence will also assist farmers to optimise the productive life of forages.

Attendees receive a take-home package with a comprehensive booklet covering all aspects of the workshop, along with an easy-to-use CD-ROM that enables you to work through, in your own time, the best options for your farm, environment and production objectives.
