
Getting help with recruiting
Rather than spend the time developing the employment systems and recruiting staff yourself, you may choose to employ a recruitment consultant to help fill a vacancy.
Make sure you get someone capable of doing the job. Ask the person you are considering using a range of questions to satisfy yourself that they are capable and even ask for some referees who could attest to the service provided. Give them a call and ask a few pointed questions:
- How were they to deal with – did they understand your requirements?
- Did they provide value for money?
- Would you use them again? Why or why not?
