- Review the season to date: celebrate success and consider improvements
- Conduct performance appraisals with all staff and set up development and training plans for the team for 2011/12
- Use the DairyNZ Career Pathways tool with staff to help with training and development plans
- Talk to the people on your farm about their plans for 2011/12 - how will this impact on your team? Do you need to start recruiting for new staff?
- Plan and discuss late lactation to dry off activities with your team including holiday plans for the dry season
- Consider and plan for any relief staff requirements for the months ahead
- Check all employee records are up to date
- Review your health and safety policies with staff. What has
