Farm analysis and business improvementDairyBase is an interactive tool for farm analysis and farm business improvement. Individually, or with the assistance of accountants/consultants, farmers can interpret analysis of their farm physical and financial data, compare their business to New Zealand benchmarks or models, and thereby make informed decisions on farm management. Further value can be obtained through annual analysis for measuring change and bringing about continuous improvement. DairyBase is used in a number of industry programmes run both by DairyNZ and other providers. A secondary function of DairyBase is to act as a data collection agency for industry good information like DairyNZ’s economic survey. |
