Smaller Milk and Supply Herds - Forums

To create and provide opportunities where smaller dairy herd farmers can:

  • Be inspired, motivated and educated so that they can achieve the most effective and efficient use of their resources - most particularly: time, money, energy and self
  • Communicate and meet in forums for the purpose of information and idea sharing specifically focussed on meeting their particular needs and requirements. To give them the opportunity to explore options and innovations that may assist them to run a profitable business and realise their goals.

An additional long term intention is to achieve the acknowledgement, appreciation and support of smaller herd farmers from their industry and the wider community, furthermore to encourage motivation and increase levels of morale within the smaller herds fraternity.

 

 

Expected outcomes of this project

Benefit
Educate, motivate and inspire smaller herd farmers.
Encourage a sense of community in smaller herd farmers, and create active networks of smaller herd farmers.
Raise awareness of the needs of smaller herd farmers in the industry.
Raise awareness of smaller herd farmers in the general community and create positive public perceptions.
