Regional Women's Network  - Adding value to the Dairy Business

The overall aim is to provide professional development opportunities for women in dairying to add value to the business of dairying. To further develop farmer networks and to grow a pool of talent that is equipped to take up leadership roles in their communities and in dairy industry.

 

 

Expected outcomes of this project

Benefit
The Network through face to face learning forums is adding to the “tools” in the tool box of dairy farmers, and providing information to the gatekeepers and influencers of the dairy business
Women have many skills to bring to the decision making table. Building capability of dairy women nationwide is increasing the number of dairy women in the “leadership pipeline”, benefiting both local communities and industry.
Increased leadership capability, increasing the numbers and effectiveness of regional groups, providing growth in regional farmer networks, providing more national and regional learning opportunities and support for dairy women, their business partners and businesses.
