Expected outcomes of this project

Benefit

If 20% of Taranaki dairy farmers adopting system by 2015 system by 2015, an estimated $16,000,000 p.a. would be added to the gross income of these farmers and to the province annually.

Integration of high producing crops demonstrated to be able to be introduced into the dairying system, will give confidence to dairy farmers to adopt the system.

Sustainability measures to ensure that the system is a sustainable one, will contribute to the long term sustainability of dairying.
