Evaluation and Adoption of the InCalf Programme in NorthlandThe purpose of the project is to establish an effective network of InCalf advisers and trainers in Northland and utilise their services to provide support one-on-one and through the InCalf farmer action group program with the aim of improving the reproductive performance of Northland dairy herds. The project will provide rural professionals with the experience associated with the InCalf farmer action group program with the view to them providing the network for delivery by 31 May 2012. |

| Improved 6-week in-calf rate and reduced empty rate in Northland herds resulting in an increase in milk production, decreased wastage of young animals and reduction in animal health costs on farm. |
| Better relationship with Rural Professionals to develop strategic partners for delivery of InCalf and industry tools resulting in improvement of fertility through a better adoption network. |
