Why 'Dairy Connect'
While interviewing farmers throughout the country for the Farmer Network Project, we found it highlighted a large proportion of farmers who wanted to share ideas and experiences with other farmers, as they didn’t want to see others making the same mistakes they made when adopting a new practice or technology. As a result we have developed this new initiative.
Aim
Link two farmers together to share information about a defined management or technical topic and to improve the level of connectedness amongst farmers in the dairy industry.
Who would benefit
Dairy Farmers in Northland, Waikato or Taranaki regions that maybe thinking of trying something new on-farm or that have tried something new and are facing challenges and would really like to talk to someone to see how they did it. If you are a farmer outside these regions who would like to be involved, you can also register your interest. Dairy Connect may expand into other areas if the demand is great enough.
How to sign up
If you think you would benefit from being involved (either receiving support or offering support to another farmer) use the registration form below.
