Stimulating novel, pre farm-gate, dairy science research relevant to the future needs of New Zealand dairy farming is key to Eric's role at DairyNZ. He is responsible for the delivery of science projects and programmes for all funders and is tasked with ensuring the quality and credibility of the science. The role also includes managing DairyNZ's research farms.

As the General Manager for Policy & Advocacy at DairyNZ, Kimberly is responsible for DairyNZ's policy and advocacy function. In this role she leads a team working to promote and enhance the interests of New Zealand's dairy farmers by working with regional and central government across a range of policy, legislative, regulatory and investment issues. Kimberly is also the Executive Director of the Dairy Companies Association of New Zealand (DCANZ), the organisation that represents the collective policy interests of New Zealand dairy companies. Prior to joining DairyNZ, Kimberly spent 9 years at Fonterra holding a number of policy and strategy roles, most recently as Fonterra's Policy and Advocacy Manager in Europe where she was responsible for leading the development and implementation of Fonterra's trade policy and government relations strategies in the region.
