For Angela, being involved in this project allows her to take a new approach to improve work hours and work-life balance for herself and her staff.
Having previously tried switching to OAD late season and experiencing a loss in production, Angela found utilising 3-in-2 during mid-late lactation a more sustainable way of reducing milking frequency on her farm. She is now keen to explore the additional people and profitability benefits of using this structure over the busier times of the year.
