Ollie is the regional leader for the Southland and South Otago regional team, based in the Invercargill office.
Establishing a passion for innovation and aiding adoption over the last decade in the agricultural industry stemmed from Ollie’s time at university. Enjoying the time learning and research through completing a Bachelor in Agricultural Science at Lincoln University, and finding a lot of research struggled to see the light of day, he cherished the opportunity to ensure farmers had improved access to this great resource. Hence how he is now leading extension in the Southern regions of the South Island.
Ollie has experience in farm nutrient cycling after spending 9 years in the fertiliser industry, while also having an interest in technology use and development in agriculture.
Ollie is passionate about the New Zealand agricultural industry and is keen to play his part and support farmers while also representing dairy farmers views in the wider industry or when applicable in the Southern regions of the South Island.
