This course will cover:

• Analysing pasture and feed components of profitable and sustainable dairy farms.
• Planning strategies and targets to optimise pasture growth and utilisation.
• Using DairyNZ tools and technology for pasture and feed management.
• Balancing a feed budget to make the best decisions around managing feed requirements.

This free course is suitable for 2IC's, farm managers, self-employed farmers and farm owners. The course includes four in-person workshops held between milkings on 13 October, 27 October, 10 November and 24 November.
