DairyNZ Principal Scientist, Dr Craig Depree, will discuss the effects of three stream contaminants - E. coli, nitrogen, and sediment-on stream health, along with practical actions you can take to reduce contamination and improve in-stream life.
Craig will also share the Awatuna/Auroa and Pihama/Oeo Catchment’s water monitoring results and discuss the progress made, alongside the Taranaki Regional Council.
TCC Project Manager, Paul Turner, will provide support and practical guidance to help you make positive changes on your farm.
Lunch kindly provided by TCC.
