This course will cover:

• Analysing pasture and feed components of profitable and sustainable dairy farms.
• Planning strategies and targets to optimise pasture growth and utilisation.
• Using DairyNZ tools and technology for pasture and feed management.
• Balancing a feed budget to make the best decisions around managing feed requirements.

This free course is suitable for 2IC's, farm managers, self-employed farmers and farm owners. The course includes four in-person workshops held between milkings on 23 September, 7 October, 28 October and 11 November.
