Why Attend?
Join Rob and Moira on farm to hear how they’ve been using the Lely milking robots to help drive culling and mating decisions based on the daily milk quality and reproduction data. By implementing the use of robots, it’s allowed them to take time off away from the farm and enjoy their hobbies.
A farmer panel, each using different wearable systems, will share their real-world experiences - the good, the bad, and the benefits they’ve found from a farmer’s point of view.
A DairyNZ expert will talk to research on the impact of wearables on reproductive performance, as well as how rumination data can play a role in decision-making for monitoring cow health and feed requirements.
