Why Attend?

We’ve partnered with Rural Support Trust to help you THRIVE this calving!

Join us for a practical session with Sarah Donaldson, Clinical Psychologist and Area Coordinator for Rural Support Trust, focused on how you can better support yourselves, your team and each other during one of the busiest times of the season. It’s also a great chance to connect with others in your community who are gearing up for calving too.

We’ll cover:

  • Eating well - what does your body need to keep going and how you can prepare quick, easy and nutritious food when cooking is the last thing you want or have time for.
  • Keeping fit - looking after your number 1 asset, yourself. What you can do to prepare and help prevent sprains and strains when things get physically demanding.
  • Being practical - learn what policies you can put in place now to make life easier during calving, and pick up some handy tips along the way.
  • Staying sane – looking after your mindset when the pressure starts to build.

Warm, hearty lunch provided. Please RSVP Tegan Pope on 027 808 3411 for catering purposes.

This event is brought to you with kind support from FMG and Farmlands.
