Prepare your team for a successful calving season with CalvingSmart. This workshop is designed to build confidence, strengthen skills, and ensure everyone on farm is ready to support cows and calves safely and effectively during calving.  

What you’ll learn 
Participants will gain practical knowledge and experience in:  

• Pre-calving observation  
• The three stages of labour  
• Identifying normal vs. abnormal calf presentation  
• Calf resuscitation  
• Matching and identifying cow and calf  
• Cow and calf care  
• The benefits of colostrum  

This workshop includes hands-on practice using a life-like cow and calf model, giving your team the chance to build skills in a realistic, low-pressure environment.

The whole farm team.
