Why Attend?

Grant and Janene will host us on-farm to share their approach to off-paddock infrastructure. They will walk us through a range of systems, from self-fed silage stacks on open-air bark chip pads through to their latest development, the installation of an Aztech roof over their bark chip calving pad this season.

We will tour three different infrastructure setups they have built, adapted, and refined to suit their system.

They will also discuss their wintering strategies across the business, including grazing some cows off-farm, self-contained wintering on baleage and grass, wintering on crop, and the use of dedicated wintering and calving pads.

Their bark chip pads play a key role in both wintering and calving.

Jade Fitzek from Landpro will also join us to outline consenting requirements for off-paddock infrastructure projects, including feed pads, wintering systems, and calving pads or barns.

Lunch kindly sponsored by Aztech Buildings.

Protect our industry - please arrive with clean boots to prevent the spread of disease, pest or weed.
