Precision dairy farming involves the use of technologies and data to either automate tasks on-farm or use data (animal, feedbase, nutrients, environment, people) to improve decision-making for enhanced accuracy, timeliness, and productivity.
The conference brought together more than 400 people from 22 countries, including 90 New Zealand dairy farmers, united by a shared vision of innovation shaping the future of dairy farming. Topics covered everything from sensor systems and automation to AI, climate, and farm systems modelling.
This conference opened doors for global collaboration, and the insights gained will help shape research, technology adoption, and farmer support, keeping our sector innovative and resilient.
