Tararua Catchment Waterway Monitoring Field Day - April

Share and learn with this family & community-friendly event!

Come and hear about the Tararua Waterway Monitoring Programme. A programme established through the Tararua Plantain Project to monitor Tararua waterways. The programme objective is to capture waterway improvement made possible through the actions of dairy farmers alongside all environmental initiatives in the district.

Iwi, ACRE, Catchment groups, Tararua plantain monitor farms, Horizons, Tararua District Council, Manawatu River Leaders and any other likeminded groups or individuals are invited to participate in open discussion on waterway monitoring. As this event is during school holidays it will be family friendly.

We want everyone to come away with new connections, and a sense of commonality as we all work towards cleaner waterways and a strong Tararua community.

Lunch will be provided afterwards at the Woodville Bowling Club afterwards.  To help the Club cater for us, please RSVP to janine.swansson@dairynz.co.nz by Thursday 22nd April

This event is brought to you by DairyNZ alongside the Tararua Plantain project.
