East Chatton Discussion Group December

We're all in the same boat. How is mating tracking? What can we do about grass quality and pugging damage? Come along and discuss these questions and lots more.

Mark and Angela are sharemilking this 420 cow property and are into their 8th season.

After a tough start to the season come along to get off farm and discuss how things are going with farmers in your area, as we're all in the same boat. How is mating tracking? What can we do about grass quality and pugging damage?

After not achieving heifer calf targets Mark and Angela have moved to using sexed semen and using wagu straws in under performing cows, which are then provided to a market with a profitable return, with the aim to reduce the amount of bobby calves. Hear their take and reasons for changing their system.
