Welcome back to the first round of groups for the season! We will be at MVM280 (formally Fonterra 38224) this month!
Recently this farm has just changed hands and supply companies however current contract milkers Rob Musgrave and his partner Danielle were able to stay. They have just started their second season on this farm and are already making great improvements to repro results and hope to do so again this season.
We will discuss what changes Rob made on farm to see those gains in repro results as well as what this farm will do for wintering practises going forward with the use of their wintering barn. Recently the farm has also had alot of regrassing done so we will look to discuss the benefits or opportunites this will bring going forward.
It will be a great chance to also have a post calving debrief and check in to see how people are sitting heading into mating so bring your staff and neighbours along and lets reconnect and set up well for the remainder of the season. Covid depending- BBQ lunch may be available.
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions lunch will not be provided but you are more than welcome to BYO.
