The expectations of agricultural production are changing and there is increasing public interest in the environmental footprint of food production along with changing government and regional policy.

Sarah Dirks, DairyNZ Step Change Project Lead will be the guest speaker at this years Monitor Farm field days. Discussing how DairyNZ is responding to these issues with their ‘Step Change’ project, taking us through the numbers associated to the West Coast monitor farms and how you create a baseline on farm to assess performance, exploring what options there are on farm to take action relating to the climate and environment change required.
