Milking efficiency is a hot topic at the moment – on a typical dairy farm, more than half the day is spent on milking and related tasks.
New in 2019, MilksmartPro events are specifically designed for rural professionals who work with farmers to help implement milking efficiency strategies and improve processes on farm. There is potential for significant savings in both time and money, delivering real, tangible benefits for the farm business.
Efficiency is not necessarily about milking faster or working harder – it’s about optimising the use of equipment and the people available, to create a system where cows, facilities and people work in balance.
