DairyNZ Board Director Cameron Henderson and Directors’ Remuneration Committee Member Johanna Burton have been reappointed unopposed to their respective positions.
“We are pleased to announce that incumbent director and deputy chair Cameron Henderson will continue contributing his leadership, insight and commitment to DairyNZ for another three years,” says DairyNZ Chair Tracy Brown.
“Cam is well respected within the sector, and his reappointment reflects the value farmers place on his experience, advocacy and passion for helping shape a successful future for dairy.”
North Canterbury farmer Cam Henderson was first elected to the DairyNZ board in October 2023. He is well known for providing a positive, progressive, and pragmatic South Island voice in the sector.
Jo Burton from the Waikato has been a member of the Directors’ Remuneration Committee since 2021. She has extensive experience working with international dairy markets in roles within CRV, Fonterra, and LIC.
Both reappointments will be formally acknowledged at the DairyNZ Annual Meeting, which will be held in Northland on Wednesday 4 November 2026.
There remains one unfilled vacancy on the Directors’ Remuneration Committee, which independently considers and recommends remuneration for directors each year. This is an ideal role for a farmer who is looking to step into governance.
