A graduate from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a Production Emphasis, Alyse is enjoying being involved in the New Zealand dairy sector and completing qualifications that enhance her knowledge and career opportunities.
Reasons/benefits of completing the New Zealand Diploma of Agribusiness Management: "Being able to learn about the business side of dairy farming with a practical application is one of the strengths of the diploma course. I also completed the Level 5 National Certificate in Production Management course and these qualifications have given me the skills and confidence to progress further in the sector," says Alyse.
Future goals: "I am a lifelong learner who can take the opportunities as they arise. Having our sharemilking business is the immediate goal as well as being ready to take new challenges either here or overseas in the future," Alyse concludes.
