    Data standards are put in place to help maintain and enhance the quality of animal data entering the dairy industry good animal database (DIGAD). This data is used for research and animal evaluation purposes.

  2. Dairy industry animal database goes live

    The transfer of the Dairy Core Database from farmer owned co-operative LIC to industry body DairyNZ has been completed and is now part of a new Dairy Industry Good Animal Database (DIGAD).

  3. Animal Database

    The Dairy Industry Good Animal Database (DIGAD) holds dairy industry data; this data is generated by farmers and collected by herd recording providers, who in turn supply it to DIGAD.
