The nomination and voting process
Each year DairyNZ holds an election process whereby levy-paying farmers who are also members of DairyNZ Inc vote for who they would like to represent them on the DairyNZ board. This ensures the board members represent our 10,500 levy-payers.
2026 director elections
Following our nomination process in August, DairyNZ Director Cameron Henderson has been re-elected unopposed to the DairyNZ Board and Johanna Burton has been re-elected unopposed to the Directors’ Remuneration Committee. Both individuals have made a strong impact during their current tenure, and will continue to contribute leadership, insight and commitment to DairyNZ and the wider dairy sector.
Our annual meeting
The 2026 annual meeting will be held on Wednesday 4 November. Details of the event will be posted closer to the time.
