Extension Partner for Morrinsville/Matamata region, as well as an Equity Partner and Lower Order Sharemilker on a 400 cow dairy farm.

I was brought up on dairy farms on the Hauraki Plains and Morrinsville before attending Massey University in 1987, where I achieved an Honours degree in Ag Science. I have spent time working for MPI (MAF) and eight years in the fertiliser industry before joining DairyNZ in 2002.

My time with DairyNZ and over 10 years in farm ownership has given me good farm systems understanding along with practical experience. I have an interest in nutrient management which has fostered my passion for sustainable farming. I have been involved in the Waikato Farm Environment Awards since the 1990s wining the Best Dairy Farm and Nutrient Management awards in 2012.
