Adam Williamson
Associate Director
Joined 1 June 2026 and is appointed for one year as an associate director.
Adam is a North Canterbury dairy farmer based in Culverden and serves as DairyNZ’s Associate Director for 2026/27.
He brings strong industry engagement and governance interest, with experience on the Synlait farmer leadership team and involvement with the Amuri Irrigation Company.
Adam is actively invested in his local community and his own professional development and is committed to contributing to the future direction of the dairy sector. He is participating in the Associate Director programme to further develop his governance capability and gain board-level experience, with a particular interest in supporting farmers through the current levy renewal period.

The responsibility of the Board is to oversee DairyNZ’s strategic goals and make key decisions on how best to respond to the risks and opportunities impacting our farmers and sector.
