Action for today
Think through today how you will cover your employee next time they are sick.
After a certain length of service, usually 6 months, all employees (even casual employees), are entitled to paid sick leave. The minimum entitlement is 5 days per year but these days accumulate if not used until 20 days sick leave is accrued. Having a plan in place for how you will cover sick days means less stress when it actually happens.Click to see more
