Directors' Remuneration Committee
The Committee comprises three individuals who are members of DairyNZ Inc and are levy payers.
The Directors' Remuneration Committee supports transparent and effective governance at DairyNZ. Established at the DairyNZ Board’s discretion, the Committee reviews directors’ remuneration and makes recommendations to ensure it remains appropriate, fair and aligned with DairyNZ’s responsibilities to levy payers and the wider dairy sector.
The Committee is made up of three DairyNZ Incorporated members (levy paying dairy farmers who are members of DairyNZ Incorporated) who are not directors or employees of DairyNZ Inc or any of its subsidiaries. This provides an opportunity for members to contribute their perspective and support strong governance on behalf of the sector.
Members of the Directors' Remuneration Committee are nominated and elected by DairyNZ Incorporated members at the Annual General Meeting, with elections held alongside the DairyNZ director elections. Eligible members who are interested in contributing to DairyNZ’s governance are encouraged to consider standing for election when nominations open.
