The Ranking of Active Sires (RAS) list was updated on Wednesday 14 October.
While no new Animal Evaluation run has been completed, additional animals have been included on the list to ensure farmers and industry have access to the most up to date information during the peak mating period. This is due to additional nominated sires becoming available after the first October RAS list was published.
There have been no changes to the underlying Breeding Values (BV) or Breeding Worth (BW). This update reflects the inclusion of additional animals only.
The next scheduled Animal Evaluation run will be released on Friday 23 October, at which time BVs and BW will be updated using the latest data.
