See the tips below to get the best results from DAiSY.

What DAiSY can do

DAiSY quickly retrieves information from across our website. For example, DAiSY can help to:

  • Answer your questions from a range of related sources in one place.
  • Summarise topic information and resources.
  • Provide step-by-step support on common topics.
  • Assist with planning and decision-making.

Every answer includes references to relevant web content, with clear highlights showing where the information came from, so you can explore further if you like, or ask DAiSY another, more specific question.

What DAiSY can’t do

DAiSY isn’t a replacement for expert advice. It can’t provide fully personalised recommendations or replace conversations with your vet, farm advisor, or other rural professionals. Instead, it complements these sources by making trusted information easier to access.

Tips for getting the best results

  • Be specific: Instead of 'mastitis', try 'how do I treat mastitis on farm'.
  • Use everyday language: no need for technical terms.
  • Add detail and context: more detail helps DAiSY give more accurate answers.
  • Try rephrasing: If the first answer isn’t quite right, ask in a different way.

Feedback helps DAiSY learn
