Francesca Bennett
Area Manager - Cambridge and Te Awamutu
Area Manager
A self-described ‘farming nut’ and ‘crazy plantain lady’ – Francesca lives and breathes farming for work and fun.
Originally from the UK, she came to New Zealand at 17. Later, she kicked off her DairyNZ career by taking part in the successful Tararua Plantain Project – while sharemilking at the same time.
“Now in this role, I’m partnering with farmers and rural professionals to provide sensational customer service, achieve great outcomes on-farm, deliver events and create opportunities for everyone to connect. We share a great sense of camaraderie in supporting farmers, building highly valued relationships critical to collective success.”
Francesca, who’s particularly passionate about teamwork and pasture, also loves to cultivate potential in others and see them do well.
“New Zealand is a phenomenal place to farm. Our Kiwi farmers are such a privilege to work with. I feel extremely lucky to be in my role especially when I'm on the road, the sun is shining, the grass is firing – and I have the opportunity to work with these amazing people.
“Farmers are at the heart of everything we do. You are the reason we are here. We do become very invested in you and your farming operations. Never hesitate to reach out to us.”
